High frequency traders such as market-makers, hedge funds, banks and institutional investors are using computer algorithms to utilize light speed trades of your stock quicker than you can blink your eyes! As traders engage in “flash” trades, turn to dark pools and the like, it’s important to understand the market structure and the environment they are working in, for you to understand how this can affect your stock price, liquidity and volumes. Approaching the topic from three viewpoints, the tools and studies, leveraging sell side to identify targets and preparing for the buy side meeting, our experienced professionals will provide insight for your plan development for 2010.

Speakers:
Peter Juhng, Partner, Ilios Partners. Peter will discuss available Targeting Tools and Studies to help uncover ideal targets. Peter Juhng joined Ilios Partners, LLC in June 2002 as a Partner to build IRNavigator, which in 2007 was named Best Service Provider by the Corporate Executive Board's CRM Service Vendor Ratings. He has worked on building IRNavigator, Hot Targets, support applications, and database and research staff at Ilios Partners. Mr. Juhng was formerly a Director at Thomson Financial. Ilios Partners is the pre-eminent provider of global securities surveillance and investor relations support to a wide range of corporate, investment banking, and investor relations consulting firms. They also provide investor relations support for corporate clients, including targeting and investor perception studies.

Bill Chappell, CFA, Managing Director and Senior Equity Analyst, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey Bill will discuss Leveraging Sell Side Relationships to:
- Obtain market intelligence to help identify targets
- Open doors with targeted investors
- Assist with planning non-deal roadshows

Bill Chappell is a Managing Director and senior equity analyst at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey covering consumer product companies and food companies. He currently covers 20 companies including Procter & Gamble, Colgate-Palmolive, Newell Rubbermaid, Ralcorp, and Flowers Foods. Prior to joining the firm in 2000, Mr. Chappell worked as a senior analyst at J.C. Bradford & Co. covering the enterprise software sector. Mr. Chappell is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a member of the Atlanta Society of Financial Analysts.

Randy Loving, CFA, Sector Portfolio Manager, Silvant Capital Management Randy brings the Approach to the Buy Side: - Asking directly for a meeting - What you should know before requesting a meeting - Who should be present at the targeting meetings (ex. CEO, CFO, IRO) - What type of follow-up is recommended after the meeting James R. (Randy) Loving, CFA serves as a Sector Portfolio Manager of Silvant with financial sector responsibilities. Mr. Loving joined Silvant in 2006 and worked as an analyst on the Silvant Large Cap Core Equity product in the financial sector. Previously, he worked as an equity analyst for SunTrust in the Personal Asset Management division covering large cap equities. He has over 11 years of investment experience. Randy Loving is a CFA Charterholder.
